An OT, SLP, and a PT are serving up gift recommendations for your kids this year. See what they have in store for them.
We have been receiving therapy for Asher at The Center For Childhood Development for several months now. When we began the therapy it was initially for speech as Asher is 3 years old and at that time, still not using verbal communication at all.
Upon our first visit, we quickly recognized that would also greatly benefit from Occupational therapy. Today we see Libby once a week for speech therapy and Elise once a week for occupational therapy.
"Since beginning this therapy, we have seen TREMENDOUS results within Asher."
Since beginning this therapy, we have seen TREMENDOUS results within Asher. He is beginning communication verbally and has shown so much growth in his social development. The work Elise and Libby are doing with Asher, is nothing shy of incredible. They have been such a staple to Asher’s amazing rise!
This therapy has been incredible for both Asher and our family. Being able to communicate with your child is such a beautiful thing. We never knew how precious that was until we were not able to. The Center For Childhood Development, Elise and Libby have given us the ability to communicate with Asher for the first time in his life.

We have four children, Asher being our youngest. The positive growth we have all seen has directly affected our everyday lives with him. He plays with his siblings now, which did not happen prior to therapy; he is noticeably a much happier little boy. His frustration and stress have been lower with the small bit of communication he has developed. I can only imagine the amazing and brilliant places we can go with this therapy; strengthening Asher’s life skills, speech/communication, and emotional/mental well-being. We are dedicated to helping Asher strive to reach the highest mountain tops he can!
